The Project

Payment Method Builder (PMB) is a free, browser-based configurator that helps developers and designers create professional payment method icon strips for checkout pages, e-commerce footers, and payment sections. It was built to solve a common problem: finding, sizing, and formatting payment method icons consistently is surprisingly time-consuming.

With PMB, you select the payment methods your store accepts from a library of 30+ icons — including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Stripe, Klarna, and many more — configure layout, size, spacing, and style, then export production-ready output in HTML/Tailwind CSS, SVG, PNG, JPG, or WebP. The entire process takes seconds instead of hours.

How It Works

Payment Method Builder runs entirely in your browser. All icon rendering, configuration, and export logic is client-side — no data is ever sent to a server. This means:

• No account or registration required.
• No personal data collected.
• No usage limits or premium tiers.
• Works offline after the initial page load.
• Fully GDPR-compliant by design.

Technical Stack

PMB is built with SvelteKit and Tailwind CSS, deployed as a prerendered static site via GitHub Actions. The icon library contains hand-curated SVGs optimized for consistent sizing and rendering across all modern browsers. Each icon is available in colored, grayscale, and tinted variants.

Export Formats

• HTML + Tailwind CSS — Ready-to-paste markup with utility classes. Drop it directly into your codebase.
• SVG — Inline SVG bundle for vector-perfect rendering at any size.
• PNG, JPG, WebP — Raster images for use in email templates, design mockups, or platforms that don't support inline SVG.
• JSON — Machine-readable builder configuration for programmatic use or sharing configurations between team members.
